On December 22nd I added a review of MBM's brand new release "Ooh Vegas" .

 

 

 

 

 

On December 8th the opening show of the ELVIS SUMMER FESTIVAL 1973 was added.

 

 

 

 

 

The second update of November, uploaded on the 16th of the month, deals with the "Lost Album Sessions" in 1963.

 

 

 

 

 

On November 2nd we kick off the pre-Xmas-season with a review of MRS' "From Elvis At Christmas", which is a stereo update of the good ole' "Elvis Christmas Album".

 

 

 

 

 

The final update for October 2024 is a review of "Closing Night 1973".

 

 

 

 

 

On October 20, 2024 a review of FTD's current release "The Last Tours" was added.

 

 

 

 

 

FTD's double album "From Sunset To Vegas" was added on October 18, 2024.

 

On October 12, 2024 the home entertainment releases were added to the accordant movie reviews.

 

Due to the cancellation of the ELVIS SUMMER FESTIVAL 1975 the king returned to the Las Vegas Hilton in December and made up for the missed shows with a PRE-HOLIDAY JUBILEE. Follow That Dream Records documented the season with a double disc called HOLIDAY SEASON IN VEGAS. The review was uploaded on October 5, 2024.

 

On September 15, 2024 the review of FTD's latest release "Guitar Man - The 67/68 Sessions" was added.

 

 

The final update in August is a review of FTD's "The ELVIS IS BACK! Sessions"

 

 

On August 24th I added a review of Sony's brand new boxed set "Memphis".

 

 

The review for the new "Memphis" box isn't finalized yet, so I uploaded an article about "Everybody Let's Rock" first.

 

 

On August 10th I added the double-album "Pine Bluff To Madison '76", which features two concerts from the second half of 1976.

 

 

We start the updates of August with a review of FTD's "The HIS HAND IN MINE Sessions".

 

 

The third and final update of July is a review of the king's concerts in Murfreesboro in March 1974.

 

 

The latest update includes a review of the brand-new boxed set "Elvis On Stage - February 1973".

 

 

On July 6th the collector's box "That's The Way It Is" was added.

 

 

The final June update is a review of FTD's "From Vegas To Tahoe", which covers the first two casino engagements of 1973.

 

 

On June 22nd I added a review of "Blue Rhythms", a compilation from the early 1980s.

 

 

The new update includes a review of two concerts from April 1977, compiled on an album called "Shaking Up The Great Lakes".

 

 

On June 8th a review of "Closing Night 1972" was added to the article about the "Elvis Summer Festival 1972".

 

 

The first update of June 2024 deals with RCA's "40 Greatest", an interesting compilation.

 

 

The update from May 25th offers a review of FTD's "St. Paul To Wichita - October '74".

 

 

On May 18th I added "Tucson '76", the first of FTD's long line of soundboard recordings.

 

 

The second May-update deals with the king's rehearsal session on January 25, 1973.

 

 

On May the 4th (be with you) I have added RCA's 1978 compilation "Elvis Sings For Children...And Grownups, Too!".

 

 

The final updates for April 2024 are reviews of FTD's "Stateline Sahara 1974" and MRS' "Elvis Presley On Fire In Toledo 1956".

 

 

With the update of April 20th I have added a review of the album "Summer Of '76".

 

 

On April 13th I have added "Elvis At 3:AM", a double-disc featuring two concerts from the king's second Tahoe stint.

 

 

The update from April 6, 2024 puts the spotlight on "Elvis In Germany", an album released by RCA back in 1982.

 

 

We close the month with the addition of "Las Vegas '71", which features three concerts of the king's January/February season at the International Hotel.

 

 

In May 1977 Elvis returned to Chicago for another two shows, so I decided to follow up with a review on March 23rd.

 

 

March 16th saw the addition of FTD's "Chicago Stadium", featuring two concerts from October 1976.

 

 

The double-disc "What Now My Love" was added on March 9th.

 

 

The first update in March (uploaded on the 2nd of the month) features "From Georgia To Florida", a set of two recordings from Elvis spring tour of 1975.

 

 

On February 24th I have added FTD's tripple-disc "Elvis - Houston, Fort Worth, Baton Rouge 1974".

 

 

The update from February 16th is a review of Sony's boxed set "Elvis Live 1969".

 

 

On February 11th a review of FTD's "From Louisiana And Memphis" was added.

 

 

The first update for February 2024 is a look at FTD's "Lake Tahoe '74".

 

 

Back in 2014 Sony Music Entertainment released a collector's edition of "That's The Way It Is". An in-depth review was uploaded on January 28, 2024.
