The king sings like a bird, the material is great and the audio quality couldn't be any better.

The album "Pot Luck With Elvis" wasn't a planned release and therefore no sessions with the goal to record this very album took place. Therefore the title of FTD's November 2021 release might be a bit missleading. However, the boxed set does cover the Nashville sessions from June and October 1961 as well as March 1962, from whose results the longplayer was compiled. "The POT LUCK Sessions" is a set of five compact discs and a booklet of 28 pages. The latter one includes an informative, well written text as well as reprints of RCA documents, promo items, record covers and much more. The audio material was remastered and remixed by Vic Anesini and Sebastian Jeansson, who once again managed to make the old recordings sound as if they were made yesterday. It's a great release, the only letdown is, that Follow That Dream Records doesn't issue digital versions of their products and therefore cuts off all Presley fans too young to own one of these good ole' compact disc players.
The set starts out with the masters and continues with the sessions. Everything is presented in chronological order, for the reviews of the tracks just tap on the accordant links:
