The ultimate site about the king of the analogue age
On June 22, 2021 "It Happened At The World's Fair" was released as part of the "Warner Archive Collection".
Warner used a 4k scan of the original negatives and transfered it to 1080p/AVC MPEG-4. The picture looks crystal clear, no piece of dust or grain can be found. The contrast and clarity are excellent. The blacks look rich, the whites never bloom and flesh tones look natural.
The soundtrack is delivered in DTS Mono 2.0. The mix is solid, there is no hiss or anything else that might reveal the age of the movie.
There are two Tom & Jerry caroons as well as the original trailer.
The video looks stunning and the audio is solid. So regarding the presentation of the movie it cannot get any better. The lack of bonus features has to be excused with the product itself. It's one of a truckload of Presley flicks of no artistic value.
