Verdict
Elvis is up for the game and delivers two fast paced, vibrant performances. Especially the midnight show is a gem.

With "Everybody Let's Rock" we get to hear the concerts from August 5, 1972. These shows were the first regular ones after the grand opening night on the previous day. They secretly were taped by a member of the Japanese fanclub, that had travelled to Vegas to see their idol. Both recordings sound quite good, considering the source. The concerts themselves are strong ones, too. It's the first day of the "Elvis Summer Festival", so the singer is full of energy and still trying out several ideas. As a result we get to hear rare 1972 versions of "The Wonder Of You", "Johnny B. Goode" and even "Jailhouse Rock"!
The packaging mirrors the ones of the FTD releases. The sound carriers are housed in a fold-out digipak, which is designed with photos from August 1972 as well as liner notes. Well, this even exceeds the efforts of Sony's own collector's label, since they don't bother with writing things like that.
